Panarea is the smallest and lowest of the Aeolian Islands, it forms a tiny archipelago located between Lipari and Stromboli.
Panarea is a tiny island, just 3 km long and 2 km wide. Wealthy tourists flock here to bask in the sun, while supermodels relax on their yachts, along the coast of Panarea, where mud baths are popular and the black sand beaches attract tourists.
It’s a charming mix of whitewashed houses, blue doors and windows, narrow alleyways and bougainvillea that give it a Mediterranean feel like the islands off Greece.
